Kelvin Mitchell AKA K. Mitch, born November 18, 1987 in San Bernardino, CA. grew up living with his grandmother and already knew music was his first love. Whether writing, singing, or rapping music has always been a part of K. Mitch’s life- even while pursuing other avenues. While on a basketball scholarship at University of Denver in 2007 K. Mitch signed music producer Shervin Bunch’s label, Wazdown Records that same year. Wanting to continue his collegiate basketball career K. Mitch transferred to East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. As K. Mitch’s immense potential and talent continued to show it possessed him to pursue music full time and in 2008 he was opening shows for Slim Thug, E40, and Twista just to name a few. Also, that year K. Mitch’s first album “True Testimony” was released and earned nominations by The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences for the 2010 Grammy Awards in three separate categories. After various relocations, K. Mitch finally settled down in Houston, all the while he steadily continued building his fan base. K. Mitch continues going strong and recently was a featured artist on Big Heff Tour’s, made radio appearances, and stays in the studio non-stop making music. In 2016 “4 Lanez” the first single off new EP “No More Wishing” hosted by Bigga Rankin, quickly gained national attention and radio play. Download and support the EP, while keeping up with all of K. Mitch’s endeavors because as the titled states there will be “No More Wishing” because K. Mitch is making things happen.
